Salesforce Developer (Hybrid)
**Role Summary**
Under the guidance of the Information Technology Manager I, serve as a journey‑level specialist responsible for administering, configuring, and developing custom solutions within multiple Salesforce environments and related low‑code platforms. Deliver enhancements for Customer Service Management (CSM), IT Service Management (ITSM), and other departmental applications while working in an Agile/Scrum setting.
**Expectations**
- Hybrid telework arrangement; candidates must reside in California.
- Adhere to state policies on confidentiality, drug‑free workplace, and professional conduct.
- Apply independent judgment and collaborative teamwork to support mission‑critical applications.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Perform Salesforce system administration, including user management, security, and data stewardship.
- Design, develop, test, and deploy custom Apex classes, triggers, Lightning Web Components, and Visualforce pages.
- Configure and maintain Salesforce objects, workflows, Process Builder, Flow, and other declarative tools.
- Support integration processes using APIs, middleware, or native integration tools.
- Enhance CSM, ITSM, and related applications based on business requirements.
- Conduct unit testing, code reviews, and maintain documentation in alignment with best practices.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.
**Required Skills**
- Proficient in Salesforce administration and development (Apex, Lightning, Flow).
- Experience with integration patterns (REST/SOAP, middleware).
- Strong understanding of data modeling, security model, and deployment tools (Change Sets, CI/CD).
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and collaborative tools (Jira, Confluence).
- Analytical problem‑solving, effective communication, and teamwork orientation.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Salesforce Administrator (ADM 201) certification required.
- Salesforce Platform Developer I certification preferred; Platform Developer II a plus.
- Additional certifications (e.g., Service Cloud, Integration Architecture) considered advantageous.
