Job title: Lead Full Stack Engineer
Role Summary: Lead Full Stack Engineer responsible for architecting, developing, and deploying secure, scalable cloud-native applications on AWS. Provides technical leadership, mentors junior developers, and drives engineering best practices across end-to-end product cycles.
Expectations: Deliver high‑quality code in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment. Champion security, performance, and maintainability. Mentor team members while ensuring alignment with client business objectives and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guide and mentor junior engineers; conduct code reviews and enforce coding and security standards.
- Lead architecture design, technical planning, and architectural decision-making for multi‑tier AWS‑based solutions.
- Design, build, test, and deploy full‑stack applications using modern JavaScript frameworks and Node.js (or .NET/Java) on AWS services.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex production incidents; contribute to incident post‑mortems and preventive controls.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives: adopt Agile/Lean practices, automate build, test, and deployment pipelines (CI/CD).
- Advocate a “security by design” mindset across all engineering activities.
- Mentor rough drafts of UI/UX concepts, provide feedback on prototyping tools, and ensure front‑end usability.
Required Skills:
- Back‑end: Expertise in Node.js (preferred); experience with .NET or Java acceptable.
- Front‑end: Advanced knowledge of JavaScript, React, and TypeScript; ability to produce performant, maintainable UI code.
- Cloud: Hands‑on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS/NoSQL, IAM, CloudFormation/CICD).
- Architecture: Proven ability to design secure, scalable, multi‑tier architectures; understand microservices patterns.
- Development Practices: Strong Agile/Lean knowledge, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and code quality tools.
- Soft Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, technical writing, and problem‑solving aptitude.
- Security: Familiarity with OWASP, security best practices, and vulnerability mitigation strategies.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline (equivalent experience accepted).
- Preferred certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate/Professional, or relevant cloud/security certifications.
