**Job Title** AI/ML Intern – Cloud Development **Role Summary** Internship focused on designing, building, and deploying cloud‑based machine learning solutions for wired and wireless network diagnostics, root‑cause analysis, and optimization. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, implement ML pipelines, validate models, monitor production deployments, and drive continuous improvement of cloud services. Hybrid schedule: average 2 days per week onsite. **Expectations** - Work 2 days onsite per week, remaining days remote. - Deliver clean, testable code and documentation aligned with cloud‑native best practices. - Participate in weekly stand‑ups, sprint planning, and cross‑team reviews. - Communicate findings and model performance to technical and non‑technical stakeholders. **Key Responsibilities** - Design, develop, and validate machine learning algorithms on large‑scale data sets. - Convert domain expert problem statements into formal ML tasks for network diagnostics and improvement. - Guide deployment of ML models into production, monitoring their performance post‑release. - Create and execute comprehensive test plans covering performance, scalability, usability, and security. - Deploy cloud‑based systems via CI/CD pipelines (Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes). - Debug, troubleshoot, and refactor code for integration into broader application architecture. - Contribute to innovation by researching and integrating emerging technologies (e.g., Agentic AI, GenAI, LLMs). **Required Skills** - Proficient in Python, including PySpark and scikit‑learn. - Solid grasp of object‑oriented programming and software engineering best practices. - Strong background in statistical and ML techniques: anomaly detection, clustering, ranking, time‑series analysis, event‑stream mining, hypothesis testing, causal inference, deep learning. - Experience with online learning, reinforcement learning, semi‑supervised learning, or mixed time‑series/event streams. - Familiarity with GenAI/large‑language models and Agentic AI (a plus). - Excellent data visualization and communication skills. - Ability to work effectively in cross‑functional teams and manage multiple priorities. **Required Education & Certifications** - Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field (Master’s candidates strongly preferred). - No specific certifications required.
