Job Description: **Job Title:** Solutions Engineer – France **Role Summary:** Provide high‑level pre‑sales technical support to drive sales opportunities for Splunk’s security and observability platform across France. Collaborate with sales, build relationships with customer technical teams, and deliver compelling technical presentations, PoCs, and proposal responses. **Expectations:** - 5+ years of pre‑sales or solutions engineering experience with enterprise software. - Proven success selling to strategic/enterprise accounts in the French market. - Fluency in French and English (written & spoken). - Ability to work independently, manage multiple engagements, and influence customer decisions. **Key Responsibilities:** - Partner with sales to identify, qualify, and close opportunities. - Conduct technical discovery, develop ROI and value‑case models. - Deliver presentations, demos, and proof‑of‑concept (PoC) engagements. - Respond to RFI/RFPs and create tailored pre‑sales materials. - Represent Splunk at conferences, trade shows, and field events. - Maintain and grow relationships with customer technical and business stakeholders. - Continuously improve presales processes, methodologies, and documentation. **Required Skills:** - Deep knowledge of one or more domains: Big Data, Security, APM, Operational Intelligence, AI/ML, or Business Intelligence/Web Analytics. - Experience with application environments and machine‑data sources (logs, security, network, performance). - Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value. - Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities. - Excellent verbal and written communication in French and English. - Familiarity with financial services, insurance, telecom, or retail sectors (preferred). **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience). - Relevant technical certifications (e.g., Splunk, cloud, security) are a plus but not mandatory.
