Job Description
**Job Title:** eFX Java Algo Developer **Role Summary:** Design, develop, and maintain ultra‑low‑latency Java applications for electronic foreign‑exchange (eFX) trading. Deliver connectivity, market‑data, pricing, hedging, and algorithmic trading components while ensuring sub‑millisecond performance, robustness, and compliance with FIX protocol and modern message buses. **Expectations:** - Deliver high‑performance, mission‑critical code in a regulated FX trading environment. - Collaborate closely with front‑office, infrastructure, and ops teams to meet stringent latency, reliability, and scalability targets. - Continuously monitor, diagnose, and optimise system performance; participate in code reviews, design discussions, and incident investigations. **Key Responsibilities:** 1. Architect and implement low‑latency Java trading services and algorithmic modules. 2. Develop and maintain connectivity layers (FIX, Solace, multicast) and market‑data ingestion. 3. Optimize multithreaded, garbage‑collection‑aware code for maximum throughput and minimal latency. 4. Design, deploy, and refine performance metrics, KPIs, and monitoring dashboards. 5.
