Job Description
**Job Title** Structural Calculation Engineer (Male/Female) **Role Summary** Perform structural sizing and analysis of naval and offshore electrical substation platforms using advanced simulation tools (ANSYS, FEMAP). Translate design data into optimized structural solutions, produce technical documentation, and manage project deliverables while coordinating跨disciplinary teams. **Expectations** - Minimum 3 years of professional experience in structural calculation, preferably in the naval sector. - Master’s or engineering degree in structural mechanics or related discipline. - Proficiency in French or English for technical communication. **Key Responsibilities** - Interpret CAD models, drawings, and regulatory requirements. - Conduct numerical sizing studies with ANSYS/FEMAP. - Analyze results and recommend structural optimisations. - Prepare detailed calculation notes and technical reports. - Lead and document technical meetings, ensuring clear information flow. - Coordinate project timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder updates. - Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and digital tool development. **Required Skills** - Advanced use of ANSYS or FEMAP for structural analysis. - Expertise in steel structure design and load assessment. - Strong technical writing and report presentation. - Ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams. - Basic project management and scheduling capabilities. **Required Education & Certifications** - Master’s degree or equivalent engineering qualification in Structural Mechanics, Naval Architecture, or related field. - Professional registration or equivalent certification in engineering (preferred).
