**Job Title:**
Internship – Security Engineer Analyst (ZTNA)
**Role Summary:**
A six‑month internship focused on Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) and network security architecture. The intern will collaborate with security, infrastructure, and platform teams to design, implement, and document secure access solutions for Ledger’s internal infrastructure.
**Expactations:**
- Final‑year or recently graduated student in computer security, networking, or related field.
- Strong interest in Zero Trust and infrastructure‑level security.
- Willingness to learn and apply new security technologies and cloud environments.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Map application and admin flows; propose Zero Trust patterns (per‑app access, identity‑aware gateways, strong authentication).
- Contribute to PoCs and integrations for ZTNA/SASE solutions (cloud console access, internal admin tools, critical SaaS).
- Define and document reference architectures, diagrams, and runbooks for secure remote access and network security.
- Develop small scripts/tools (Python, shell) for automation, validation, configuration checks, or data collection.
- Collaborate with Security Engineering, Infrastructure/SRE, and IT teams on production‑grade environments.
**Required Skills:**
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, routing, DNS, VPN, HTTP(S), TLS.
- Understanding of security concepts: Zero Trust, least privilege, segmentation, identity‑ and context‑based access.
- Comfortable with Linux environments; proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python preferred).
- Basic Git usage and familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, or similar).
- Strong analytical skills, ability to read and critique technical documentation, and propose improvements.
- Proactive, curious, and detail‑oriented.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Current enrollment or recent completion of a degree program in computer security, computer science, network engineering, or a related discipline.
- No specific certifications required; knowledge of certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Security+, or relevant cloud vendor credentials is advantageous.
