Job Description: **Job Title:** Insertion and Daily Life Advisor (Conseiller d’insertion et vie courante) **Role Summary:** Provide administrative, legal, and social support to foreign Legion soldiers and their families to facilitate their integration into French society. Act as a liaison between Legion personnel, command, and civilian authorities, offering guidance on procedural matters while respecting non‑mandate boundaries. **Expectations:** - French national, 18‑26 years old. - Physically fit and able to meet military‑type demands. - Availability for a one‑year military‑status contract (VADAT). - Strong organizational, relational, and proactive mindset. - Willingness to innovate and propose improvements. **Key Responsibilities:** - Inform and assist Legionnaires and families with administrative and legal procedures. - Explain complex administrative or judicial situations in clear terms. - Draft and review administrative or legal correspondence. - Advise on the need to consult specialists (lawyer, notary, bailiff) and facilitate those contacts. - Support the integration of families into civilian life. - Provide command with counsel on individual cases based on personal knowledge of personnel and sensitive situations. - Contribute to building relationships with local civil authorities and judicial entities. **Required Skills:** - Strong knowledge of French administrative and legal processes. - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. - Project‑management competence. - High level of autonomy, initiative, and problem‑solving. - Ability to work collaboratively within a military environment (spirit of corps). - Basic driving license (preferred, not mandatory). **Required Education & Certifications:** - Current enrollment in a law degree program (undergraduate or graduate). - No specific professional certifications required.
