Job Description
Job Title: Access Insurance Internship Role Summary: A summer internship offering hands‑on experience in risk management and insurance. Interns collaborate with professionals across brokerage, underwriting, client services, and analytics, applying academic knowledge to real business scenarios and contributing to meaningful projects. Expectations: Attend all scheduled sessions, actively participate in team activities, complete a capstone project/presentation, maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA, and demonstrate professionalism, curiosity, and a willingness to learn. Key Responsibilities: • Assist with data entry, analysis, and reporting for client accounts. • Support underwriting and brokerage teams with documentation, research, and market comparison of insurance quotes. • Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and collaborative projects. • Prepare presentations and client deliverables. • Shadow professionals across departments to gain exposure to various roles. • Complete a capstone project or presentation during the internship term. Required Skills: • Strong verbal and written communication. • Analytical thinking and attention to detail. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). • Problem‑solving and teamwork orientation. • Curiosity, self‑motivation, and adaptability. Required Education & Certifications: • Current enrollment at an accredited college or university. • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Sales, Risk Management & Insurance, or a related field. • Minimum GPA of 3.0.
