Job Description: **Job title** Unreal Engine Tester (M/F) **Role Summary** QA engineer responsible for ensuring the quality of Unreal Engine 5 projects and immersive (XR/VRT) applications. Works closely with developers, product owners, and the QA team to design, execute, and maintain functional and performance tests, contribute to test strategy, and validate software releases. **Expectations** - Deliver comprehensive testing coverage for HMD/VR/XR builds. - Establish and promote best practices in rendering, performance, and functional testing. - Collaborate with the development cycle, providing timely feedback and defect reports. - Participate in acceptance and validation of software deliverables. **Key Responsibilities** 1. Maintain and enhance rendering‑system test suites. 2. Define and apply performance testing guidelines and metrics. 3. Ensure full test coverage across all supported XR devices. 4. Review requirements and design documents; provide testability feedback. 5. Create, update, and manage test cases in TestRail/Xray. 6. Log defects in Jira, track status, and verify fixes. 7. Assist in developing the overall QA strategy and process improvement initiatives. 8. Mentor junior testers and participate in knowledge‑sharing sessions. **Required Skills** - Minimum 2 years of software or video‑game testing experience. - Technical understanding of XR, tracking, or game‑engine concepts. - Experience with functional testing; basic performance‑testing knowledge. - Proficiency with issue‑tracking tools (Jira, etc.) and test‑management tools (TestRail, Xray). - Familiarity with UE 4/5 or equivalent game engines, Agile methodologies, and Linux operating systems is a plus. - Strong communication, attention to detail, self‑direction, and adaptability. - Good command of English (written and spoken). **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Game Development or related field preferred. - Certifications in Agile (Scrum) or QA (ISTQB) are advantageous but not mandatory.
