**Job Title**
Business Manager
**Role Summary**
Own and execute the commercial strategy for a technology services firm, driving new partner acquisition, client relationship management, and revenue growth. Simultaneously recruit and develop a high‑performance consulting team, ensuring project delivery aligns with profitability targets.
**Expectations**
- Achieve set revenue and partner‑growth targets.
- Expand the client portfolio and deepen existing relationships.
- Maintain or improve the profit margin for the designated profit center.
- Build and mentor a consulting talent pipeline that meets business needs.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. **Commercial Strategy & Execution** – Define growth plans, identify future partner prospects, lead pre‑sales activities and RFP responses, negotiate contracts, close deals, and manage the full sales cycle.
2. **Client Relationship Management** – Cultivate long‑term relationships, uncover new opportunities, and ensure client satisfaction throughout project delivery and billing.
3. **Consultant Recruitment & Onboarding** – Open job requisitions, source, interview, select, and onboard qualified IT consultants, and outline clear career progression paths.
4. **Team Management & Development** – Lead a group of consultants, monitor performance, provide coaching, deliver training programs, and ensure project continuity and quality.
5. **Profit Center Oversight** – Control the end‑to‑end profit cycle, from development through invoicing, tracking margins, and reporting financial results.
**Required Skills**
- Minimum 2 years of commercial development experience in an IT or technology services environment.
- Proven track record in prospecting, lead generation, RFP handling, and deal negotiation.
- Strong stakeholder communication, relationship‑building, and influencing abilities.
- Ability to recruit, evaluate, and mentor technical talent.
- Leadership skills in managing project teams and ensuring deliverables.
- Analytical mindset with data‑driven decision making.
- Proficiency with CRM and sales‑automation tools.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Master’s degree (Bac+5) from a business school, engineering school, or equivalent.
- No mandatory certifications required; however, credentials in ITIL, project management, or sales (e.g., PMP, CSM, SPIN Selling) are advantageous.
