Job Description
Job Title: Salesforce Administrator Role Summary: Maintain and optimize a company-wide Salesforce instance as part of the DataOps team. Manage daily configuration, user administration, data quality, and automation to support business objectives. Translate stakeholder needs into technical solutions and drive user adoption through training, documentation, and continuous improvement of the platform. Expectations: • Minimum 2+ years of Salesforce administration experience (Sales Cloud with Person Accounts preferred). • Adherence to Salesforce release schedules and sandbox testing. • Ability to prioritize competing tasks and deliver enhancements on time. Key Responsibilities: • Perform daily system administration, configuration, and support of Salesforce platform. • Manage user lifecycle: onboarding, access, profiles, roles, permission sets, and plugin licenses. • Ensure data integrity via data quality tasks (matching rules, deduplication, migration, remediation). • Design and implement automation (Flows, validation rules, assignment rules, approval processes, queues). • Create custom report types, reports, queries, grids, and dashboards for actionable insights. • Lead user training, onboarding, and create documentation to improve proficiency and adoption. • Collaborate with senior DataOps and other departments to deploy new features and integrations (third‑party & AppExchange). • Maintain knowledge of new Salesforce releases, test features in sandbox, and roll out updates. Required Skills: • Salesforce Administration (Sales Cloud, Person Accounts). • Custom object, field, and automation configuration (Flow, validation, queues, approval). • Data quality management (duplicate rules, data migration, cleansing). • Reporting and dashboard design. • Integration knowledge (third‑party, AppExchange). • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and project management skills. • Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities. • Familiarity with Conga Composer, Gridbuddy, Outreach.io, Clay.io (preferred). Required Education & Certifications: • Salesforce Administrator Certification (ADM‑201) strongly preferred. • Minimum 2 years of direct Salesforce admin experience.
