Job Description: Job Title: Domain Architect Role Summary: Lead the strategic design and evolution of the IT architecture for insurance businesses, translating business vision into robust, future‑ready technology roadmaps and maintaining program‑level governance. Expectations: Deliver expert architectural guidance, collaborate with solution architects to shape architectural decisions, influence management on technology directions, nurture architectural governance, lead technology evangelism, and support team growth. Key Responsibilities: - Develop AS‑IS and TO‑BE architecture roadmaps for insurance applications. - Define and refine architectural patterns for service, API, event‑driven, SOA, micro‑services, and micro front‑ends. - Provide prescriptive guidance to solution architects for solution construction. - Champion architectural governance and standards at the program level. - Communicate architectural vision to management and stakeholders. - Monitor emerging technologies and inject relevant innovations into the architecture. - Mentor and elevate architectural capabilities within the team. Required Skills: - Minimum 10 years of experience in application architecture, software design or technical leadership. - Deep knowledge of the insurance domain, preferably life insurance. - Proficiency in modeling techniques and notations (ArchiMate, UML). - Strong grasp of integration patterns (services, APIs, event‑driven), SOA, componentisation, micro‑services, micro front‑ends. - Excellent communication, influence, and stakeholder engagement abilities. - Passion for continuous learning and technology evangelism. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent professional experience. - Relevant architectural certifications (e.g., TOGAF, ArchiMate) are advantageous.
