Job Title: Cybersecurity Expert
Role Summary:
Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of security controls for on‑premises and cloud environments. Drive vulnerability management, incident response, NIS2 compliance, automation, and security awareness across the organization.
Expectations:
* Minimum 5–8 years of cybersecurity experience in enterprise environments.
* Proven ability to manage multi‑cloud (Azure, AWS) security and on‑prem Microsoft infrastructures.
* Strong background in SOC operations, vulnerability assessment, incident response, and compliance (NIS2).
* Fluent in English (oral and written); capable of communicating with international teams.
* Willingness to work onsite (2–3 days a week, ideally Tuesdays and Thursdays) and full‑time (35 h/week).
Key Responsibilities:
* Optimize SOC supervision and strengthen monitoring of infrastructure, identities, and processes.
* Conduct vulnerability assessments on networks, endpoints, and identities; develop risk analyses and action plans.
* Improve security posture for Azure and AWS environments.
* Enhance cyber maturity score (DMARC/DKIM/SPF, external visibility, ORADAD, PingCastle, PurpleNight, etc.).
* Draft incident‑response procedures for phishing, data leaks, DDoS, and other threat vectors.
* Perform NIS2 gap analysis, estimate remediation costs, and execute quick‑win controls.
* Define and implement new KPIs/KRIs to feed dashboards for security metrics.
* Automate existing processes and integrate new workflows using scripting and cloud automation tools.
* Support M&A integration projects and provide security guidance to partner teams.
* Deliver training and knowledge transfer sessions to internal staff on emerging technologies.
Required Skills:
* Microsoft technologies: Active Directory, Windows Server, PKI.
* Network security: Fortinet, Palo Alto, NAC.
* Endpoint protection: Windows, Palo Alto Cortex XDR.
* System hardening: Windows and Linux.
* Automation & scripting: PowerShell, Python, Azure Automation, Power Platform.
* Cloud security: Azure, AWS.
* ITIL foundation or related process framework.
* Languages: English (fluent) and French (if applicable).
Required Education & Certifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field.
* Relevant certifications preferred: ITIL, Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate, AWS Certified Security – Specialty, or equivalent SOC/Cybersecurity credentials.
