**Job Title**
Product Owner – Mobile Applications (iOS & Android)
**Role Summary**
Drive the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of native mobile apps for a leading free streaming platform. Ensure seamless, high‑performance user experiences across mobile, web, TV, and other touchpoints while coordinating with engineering, design, QA, marketing, and data teams.
**Expectations**
- Own end‑to‑end product lifecycle for mobile apps.
- Prioritize and groom functional backlog aligned with business and technical strategy.
- Deliver high‑value features on schedule, maintaining quality and performance metrics.
- Communicate progress, risks, and opportunities to senior product leadership.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Define, maintain, and prioritize the mobile backlog; write clear, testable user stories with acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate with iOS/Android teams and Tech Leads to enforce team cohesion and agile rituals.
- Manage sprint execution, quality gates, and release coordination with Apple & Google stores.
- Track and improve app performance metrics (crash‑free rate, load time, UX flow).
- Work with PMs and Designers to design intuitive, brand‑consistent user journeys.
- Capture user feedback and bug reports from reviews, support, NPS to inform backlog refinement.
- Serve as central liaison for mobile initiatives across tech, marketing, editorial, advertising, and data stakeholders.
- Report KPIs (velocity, bugs, time‑to‑market, user satisfaction) to Head of Product Delivery.
- Identify delivery process inefficiencies and advocate for agile best practices.
- Promote a data‑driven, impact‑focused product culture.
**Required Skills**
- 3–5 years product management experience, with significant mobile‑app focus.
- Deep understanding of native mobile ecosystems (iOS SDK, Android SDK, App Store / Play Store guidelines).
- Knowledge of mobile performance metrics, build size, latency, crash management.
- Proficiency in agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and tools (Jira, Confluence, Notion, Figma, Firebase).
- Strong analytical capability, data‑driven decision making.
- Excellent communication and collaboration across interdisciplinary teams.
- Passion for mobile UX, video consumption, and streaming trends.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Digital Technology, Engineering, Business, Management, or related field.
- Product management certifications (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner, Pragmatic Marketing, or equivalent) preferred but not mandatory.
