**Job Title** Regional Sales Manager **Role Summary** Lead sales and strategic execution for a defined portfolio of regions, divisions, or banner accounts within a national chain. Own regional key account volume, market share, and financial performance, driving distribution, pricing, promotion, and merchandising initiatives that align with overall brand strategy. **Expectations** - Deliver consistent volume and margin growth while achieving agreed market share targets. - Maintain strong, collaborative relationships with regional chain decision‑makers and key account partners. - Execute and evaluate promotion, pricing, and distribution programs within agreed budgets. - Provide quarterly business reviews and Energy‑Insights to influence channel strategy. **Key Responsibilities** - Own regional key account volume, market share, and spend management. - Implement distribution plans for priority packages, ensuring compliance with channel strategy and SOPs. - Promote recommended pricing, tailoring presentations to meet local buyer needs. - Build and maintain annual promotion calendars; coordinate POS materials and displays. - Drive effective merchandising (QPOD) and evaluate ROI prior to POS spend. - Develop and maintain local “wiring models” for communication with chain HQ and local distributors. - Ensure annual Customer Marketing Agreements are met and manage T&E within budgets. - Conduct ROI and post‑promotion analysis with Category Management; provide actionable insights. - Gather and analyze retailer scan data, basket data, and other market intelligence. - Lead quarterly business reviews and share competitive differentiators. - Maintain continuous, clear communication with DPs, DPMs, and regional staff. **Required Skills** - 4+ years of sales and key account management in beverage, CPG, FMCG, or DSD environments. - Proven ability to manage chain accounts and achieve volume/margin targets. - Strong analytical skills: ROI, promotion effectiveness, and sales data interpretation. - Excellent relationship‑building and negotiation capabilities. - Effective communication across multiple stakeholder levels (chain HQ, DPs, retailers). - Knowledge of distribution, pricing, promotion, and merchandising best practices. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or related field. - Professional certification in Sales/Account Management (e.g., Certified Professional Sales Leader – CPSL) preferred. ---
