Job Title: Senior Android Developer (6‑Month FTC) Role Summary: Contract role within a cross‑functional squad using Shape Up methodology. Responsible for designing, building, and releasing new features for a fully modular Android app that ships weekly. Expectations: - Minimum 3 years of commercial Android development experience (Kotlin). - Proven track record with Android Jetpack, Compose, MVVM, and coroutines. - Strong ability to create high‑quality, accessible UI components. - Experience collaborating with product managers, designers, back‑end engineers, and data analysts. - Capacity to influence architecture, roadmap, and delivery processes. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, test, and ship Android features. - Refine requirements and translate ideas into functional, production‑ready solutions. - Mentor junior team members and share best practices. - Propose and implement large‑scale technical improvements to architecture and pipelines. - Participate in weekly release train and contribute to continuous delivery.
