**Job Title:** Product Documentation Manager
**Role Summary**
Lead and grow the technical documentation function for a cloud/AI product portfolio. Ensure all written, visual, and training content is accurate, consistent, and aligned with product strategy while driving continuous improvement of the documentation tooling and processes.
**Expectations**
- Deliver high‑quality documentation on time for all cloud and AI services.
- Manage a team of writers, designers, and learning specialists, fostering collaboration and professional growth.
- Align documentation objectives with product, engineering, marketing, and support priorities.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead, coach, and evaluate the documentation team (5 writers, 2 UX designers, 1 learning manager).
- Define documentation priorities, monitor progress, and ensure delivery deadlines.
- Maintain consistency, clarity, and strategic alignment across all content types (docs, console copy, translations).
- Oversee translation workflows and QA standards, ensuring release readiness in multiple languages.
- Drive continuous improvement of documentation platforms and authoring workflows (Docs‑as‑Code).
- Review and validate technical content across product lines.
- Supervise the learning program (360Learning) and training materials.
- Promote the documentation team’s work internally and externally to increase visibility.
- Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to integrate doc strategy with product roadmaps and business goals.
**Required Skills**
- 5+ years in technical writing and documentation management for cloud / SaaS / API products.
- Proven experience with Docs‑as‑Code, GitHub/GitLab, localazy, Jira, VS Code, and Figma.
- Expertise in translation workflows, QA processes, and multilingual content management.
- Strong project management, prioritization, and delivery skills; prior recruitment and team evaluation experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English and French; ability to translate technical concepts clearly.
- Strategic thinking combined with operational rigor, curiosity, adaptability, and resilience.
- Ability to collaborate across product, engineering, design, and support functions; proficient in managing multiple concurrent priorities.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Technical Communication, Library/Information Science, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Certifications such as SCRUM Master, PMP, or similar are a plus but not mandatory.
