**Job Title:** Data Scientist **Role Summary:** Drive consumer marketing analytics for an online gaming portfolio, delivering data‑driven insights to optimize user acquisition, engagement, and retention across a customer base exceeding 300 million players. Partner with media buyers, product, and game teams to design, test, and implement predictive models and A/B experiments that inform marketing strategy and product decisions. **Expectations:** - Rapidly learn and adapt to a fast‑paced, collaborative environment. - Translate business problems into analytical solutions and technical requirements. - Communicate clear, actionable findings to stakeholders across marketing, product, and game development. **Key Responsibilities:** 1. Identify business opportunities and design analytical strategies to capture them. 2. Develop and deploy predictive, segmentation, and monetization models for user acquisition, engagement, and retention. 3. Conduct statistical analysis and apply machine learning techniques to uncover actionable insights. 4. Design and validate A/B tests and geo‑experiments to measure marketing impacts. 5. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure accurate data tracking, implementation, and impact analysis. 6. Deliver error‑free analysis, debugging issues and producing timely reports. 7. Visualize and present results in clear, concise formats for non‑technical stakeholders. **Required Skills:** - **Domain Knowledge:** Experience in data science with a focus on marketing analytics. - **Business Insight:** Ability to independently identify relevant data, analysis, and actionable recommendations. - **SQL:** Proficient in complex queries on large relational, cloud‑based databases. - **Analytical Coding:** Skilled in R, Python (or comparable frameworks) and Excel for statistical analysis. - **Statistics & Machine Learning:** Strong grasp of statistical and ML techniques; experience with marketing mix models, segmentation, and geo‑experiments is a plus. - **Communication & Visualization:** Proficient in creating dashboards, reports, and presentations to convey insights effectively. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field (Master’s or PhD preferred). - Certifications in SQL, data science, analytics, or related disciplines are advantageous.
