Job Title: ServiceNow Developer
Role Summary:
Design, build, and enhance ServiceNow applications and workflows to support internal business functions and external service delivery. Lead development of client scripts, UI policies, Flow Designer flows, and business rules, and integrate ServiceNow with core internal systems.
Expectations:
- Build, configure, and maintain ServiceNow applications, modules, and workflows.
- Develop and maintain client scripts, UI policies, Flow Designer flows, and business rules to automate processes and improve user experience.
- Partner with platform owners, process owners, and stakeholders to translate business challenges into effective ServiceNow solutions.
- Develop and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and internal systems using APIs, IntegrationHub, REST, or SOAP.
- Contribute to internal documentation, standards, and best practices for the ServiceNow function.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Configure and extend ServiceNow modules (ITSM, ITOM, CSM, TPSM).
2. Create and maintain client scripts, UI policies, business rules, and Flow Designer flows.
3. Design and implement integrations with other core systems (Hub & Spoke methodology, REST, SOAP, IntegrationHub).
4. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements and ensure solutions align with business needs.
5. Document solutions, maintain version control, and support continuous improvement of ServiceNow processes.
Required Skills:
- Proven ServiceNow Developer experience, preferably in an internal or enterprise setting.
- Deep understanding of ServiceNow architecture, data model, and core modules.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, Flow Designer, UI Policies, Client Scripts, and Business Rules.
- Experience with web technologies and platform integration methods (Hub & Spoke).
- Competence in REST, SOAP, and IntegrationHub integrations.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders across departments.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred).
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (strongly preferred).
