Job Description
Job Title: Business Manager – Pharmaceutical Sector Role Summary Drive the growth of a pharmaceutical client portfolio and build a high‑performing consulting team. Oversee all sales, recruitment, and team management functions to deliver client value and achieve revenue targets. Expectations Build and maintain a robust pipeline of pharmaceutical clients, negotiate and close contracts, and expand engagement volume. Recruit, coach, and retain consultants, ensuring they excel in client delivery. Act as the principal liaison between clients and internal teams, fostering strong, long‑term relationships and high client satisfaction. Key Responsibilities - Identify, prospect, and secure new pharmaceutical accounts. - Lead commercial negotiations, draft proposals, and close deals. - Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients, upsell services, and ensure renewal success. - Conduct end‑to‑end recruitment for consultants: source, screen, interview, and onboard talent. - Prepare applicants for client interviews and provide ongoing career development guidance. - Manage and mentor the consulting team: set OKRs, coach performance, conduct reviews, and support career paths. - Coordinate with client stakeholders to tailor consulting solutions and ensure deliverables meet expectations. - Monitor market trends and adjust sales strategy to capitalize on emerging opportunities. Required Skills - Strong commercial acumen and proven sales success in the pharmaceutical or life‑science sector. - Excellent negotiation, proposal writing, and closing skills. - Talent acquisition experience and ability to assess consulting capabilities. - Leadership and coaching skills with a track record of building and scaling teams. - Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and client‑management abilities. - Self‑motivated, entrepreneurial mindset focused on results. - Proficiency in French (native) and professional English. Required Education & Certifications - Master’s degree or equivalent in Business, Life Sciences, or related field. - Relevant certifications in sales, consulting, or project management are a plus.
