Job Description
Job title: Senior Application Support Engineer Role Summary Provide advanced technical support for a B2B SaaS lending platform, acting as the primary point of contact for client issues, monitoring system health, coordinating incident response, onboarding new clients, and continuously improving monitoring, alerting, and support processes. Expectations - 4+ years of professional experience in customer‑facing technical support or engineering. - Excellent verbal and written communication; able to translate technical concepts for non‑technical stakeholders. - Strong analytical, diagnostic, and problem‑solving skills. - Proficient with SQL databases and REST APIs for debugging and reporting. - Skilled in at least one programming language (Python preferred). - Experience with Git version control. - Familiarity with AWS services (ECS, RDS), OpenTelemetry, New Relic, Docker, and Angular is advantageous. Key Responsibilities - Serve as first‑line support for B2B client technical queries. - Monitor internal and client‑facing platforms for availability and performance; write and maintain monitoring queries. - Lead incident response activities, ensuring resolution and post‑mortem documentation. - Guide technical onboarding of new B2B clients, helping them integrate with the platform’s API. - Develop and iteratively improve support processes and tooling to enhance client outcomes. - Collaborate cross‑functionally with engineering, product, and operations teams. Required Skills - Customer‑support experience in a technical environment. - SQL + PostgreSQL proficiency. - REST API debugging and usage. - Python programming. - Git workflow expertise. - Understanding of AWS infrastructure (ECS, RDS). - Monitoring tools (OpenTelemetry, New Relic). - Docker containerization. - Angular exposure (preferred). - Strong written and oral communication; stakeholder management. Required Education & Certifications - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent work experience. - AWS certification (e.g., Solutions Architect) or similar credential is desirable.
