**Job Title**
Software Engineer – Manufacturing (F/H)
**Role Summary**
Develop, test, and deploy innovative software solutions for manufacturing processes within a global transportation company. Work across a technology stack that includes .NET (C#, ASP.NET Core), Java, Angular, SQL (MS SQL Server, Oracle), and Python. Participate in Agile Scrum teams, CI/CD pipeline creation, and security‑centric DevSecOps practices to deliver scalable, high‑quality applications.
**Expectations**
- Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Proven expertise in .NET technologies, and added advantage for Java and Angular.
- Strong SQL knowledge, especially MS SQL Server and Oracle.
- Hands‑on experience with Python, unit testing, and legacy database systems (e.g., DB2).
- Familiarity with DevSecOps tools: CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, SCA, SAST, DAST, SonarQube.
- Agile Scrum participation (sprints, ceremonies, retrospectives).
- Excellent written and spoken English; teamwork, adaptability, problem‑solving, and openness to diverse perspectives.
- Knowledge of AI or prompt engineering considered a plus.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Design, develop, test, and deploy software components, ensuring clean, well‑documented code.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to elicit and translate business requirements.
- Optimize application performance and scalability; conduct code reviews for quality.
- Troubleshoot defects, handle incident response, and perform root‑cause analysis.
- Build and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines, manage Git workflows, and integrate security tools.
- Create and maintain unit tests to guarantee code reliability.
- Operate within an Agile Scrum environment, delivering incremental value.
- Contribute to MVPs, large‑scale deliveries, and innovation initiatives (e.g., AI, prompt engineering).
- Share best practices, mentor peers, and engage in continuous learning.
