Job Description
**Job Title:** Senior Account Director, Healthcare Advertising **Role Summary** Lead and manage multiple high‑value healthcare client accounts, driving strategic direction, client satisfaction, and profitability. Oversee end‑to‑end project execution, inspire cross‑functional teams, and develop new business opportunities within the healthcare industry. **Expectations** - Deliver superior client service and maintain long‑term relationships. - Achieve profitability targets through accurate budgeting and resource allocation. - Drive organic growth and pursue new business prospects. - Lead and develop a diverse team while upholding industry compliance and best practices. **Key Responsibilities** - Own and lead multiple client accounts, steering strategy, briefing, and annual planning. - Ensure creative excellence, high‑quality delivery, and client satisfaction. - Maintain up‑to‑date industry/therapeutic knowledge and proactively seek growth opportunities. - Manage account profitability: budgeting, forecasting, tracking hours vs. budget, invoicing, PO processing, and reconciliations. - Report financial and team metrics to senior leadership. - Lead, mentor, and line‑manage junior team members (PMs, PDs, ADs); identify training needs and ensure compliance. - Oversee external service providers and support agency policy implementation. - Identify, convert, and pitch new business opportunities within existing and new clients. - Leverage network and past contacts to generate leads and support credentials meetings. - Attend client meetings and travel as required. - Adhere to all legal, compliance, H&S, and information security requirements. **Required Skills** - 7–10 years’ advertising experience, preferably in healthcare. - Proven ability to manage global, regional, and domestic accounts across multiple geographies. - Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem‑solving skills. - Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder‑management abilities. - Leadership experience with line management of creative and production teams. - Demonstrated success in budgeting, forecasting, and profit‑margin management. - Ability to grow organic and new business within existing accounts. - Knowledge of healthcare and pharmaceutical industry regulations and standards. - Competence with digital and data‑driven advertising platforms is preferred. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field. - Relevant advertising or marketing certifications (e.g., AICP, AMA, Media Academy) are desirable. ---
