**Job Title**
Event Marketing Manager (Contractual)
**Role Summary**
Lead the planning, execution, and evaluation of GE HealthCare’s congress marketing strategy across France and Belgium. Drive brand visibility and lead generation through owned and partner events, ensuring alignment with business objectives, regulatory standards, and budget constraints.
**Expectations**
- Deliver measurable ROI for all congress marketing initiatives.
- Maintain strict adherence to quality, compliance, and regulatory requirements for medical devices and professional societies.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with product, finance, legal, and external agencies to launch integrated campaigns.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and execute the annual France & Belgium Congress Marketing Plan in partnership with product leads.
- Own the end‑to‑end management of owned events (user clubs, workshops) and participation in external conferences.
- Coordinate with event organisers, agencies, and in‑house designers to create booths, workshops, and supporting assets (videos, articles, collateral).
- Communicate plans and activities internally, ensuring stakeholder alignment.
- Oversee financial and regulatory approval workflows within established timelines.
- Capture, track, and analyze leads from all events; convert qualified leads into commercial opportunities.
- Supervise graphic design and marketing material production for events.
- Conduct ROI analysis of all marketing activities, propose optimisations, and contribute to the Year+1 strategy.
- Manage the congress marketing budget, ensuring cost controls and accurate forecasting.
- Ensure all event activities meet internal quality and regulatory processes for health‑care professionals and scientific societies.
**Required Skills**
- Strong Marcom experience with event management and project delivery.
- Proven project planning, organisation, and communication abilities.
- Ability to manage cross‑functional teams and external partners.
- Experience with financial and regulatory approval cycles.
- Analytical mindset: ROI measurement, lead tracking, and reporting.
- Fluency in French and English.
- Detail‑oriented, quality‑driven, and compliant with medical‑device industry standards.
- Adaptable, travel‑ready within France; willingness to travel for events.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 3‑5 years of progressive experience in marketing communications and event management, preferably within the medical‑devices sector.
- Project‑management certifications (PMP, Prince2, or equivalent) and/or event‑management credentials are desirable.
