Job Description
Job title: Project Manager IV Role Summary: Lead a three‑person international Project Management team, coordinate multiple Agile scrum teams, and drive end‑to‑end delivery of SaaS POS solutions for global fuel and convenience retail customers. Oversee project planning, risk, scope, and stakeholder communications while ensuring alignment with product strategy and cross‑functional resourcing. Expactations: • Manage day‑to‑day operations of the PM team and individual project portfolios. • Translate product priorities into actionable project plans and deliverables. • Maintain high standards of PMO practices, documentation, and reporting. • Communicate effectively with executive leadership, clients, and internal stakeholders. • Adapt schedules and resources to meet global time‑zone requirements. Key Responsibilities: • Lead and develop the Project Management team under the VP of Product Management. • Translate product‑management priorities into actionable plans for the PM team. • Drive best‑practice PMO activities, consistency, and excellence. • Create and maintain project plans, stakeholder status reports, RAIL logs, risk mitigation plans, scope tools, and dashboards. • Coordinate with cross‑functional teams for accurate resourcing, sequencing, and priority clarity. • Provide timely, consistent reporting to internal teams (Professional Services, Sales, Management) and external customers. • Monitor project progress across multiple initiatives and regions, adjusting as needed. • Prepare and conduct gate meetings to review software deliverables. • Facilitate efficient team meetings, define action items, and ensure follow‑up. • Deliver executive updates with clear recommended actions when timelines or deliverables are at risk. • Apply strategic priorities independently to day‑to‑day decisions. • Apply industry best practices, methodologies, tools and standards for professional Project Management. • Contribute to continuous improvement of PM processes and tools. • Remain flexible to accommodate odd hours for team members in the Americas, Europe, and APAC. Required Skills: • Minimum 8 years of proven Agile software development project management experience. • Direct people‑management experience (team of at least 2). • Strong communication skills for client discussions and executive‑level reporting. • Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, organization, and attention‑to‑detail skills. • Ability to multi‑task, prioritize across competing deadlines, and manage trade‑offs. • Proactive self‑organization and ability to lead through influence. • Fluency in written and spoken English. • Experience in client‑facing environments and Agile Scrum coordination. Required Education & Certifications: • Bachelor’s degree required. • Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) preferred. • Experience with POS or retail fuel domains, technical consulting, or business process engineering is a plus. • Proficiency in Project Management software tools, Microsoft Office, Azure DevOps, and Salesforce.
