**Job Title:** EDD Manager Compliance, London COE
**Role Summary:**
Lead and scale the Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) segment of compliance operations for Coinbase’s London centre of excellence. Direct a team of KYC/AML analysts across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring rigorous adherence to regulatory requirements while driving productivity, quality, and operational excellence.
**Expectations:**
- Achieve operational OKRs and KPIs for the London EDD function.
- Deliver data‑driven insights, capacity planning, and financial stewardship.
- Maintain and grow a high‑performance, diverse team through hiring, training, and mentorship.
- Forge strong cross‑functional relationships with Compliance, Legal, Program Management, Vendor Management, and Analytics.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Develop and execute the strategic vision for EDD compliance, scaling operational performance across the London site.
- Create and standardise work instructions, procedures, and policies, integrating feedback from auditors and stakeholders.
- Design, track, and report on metrics; conduct capacity and financial analysis to inform decision‑making.
- Lead weekly, monthly, and quarterly vendor business reviews to uphold customer focus and operational excellence.
- Delegate tactical tasks, set performance expectations, and oversee productivity and quality.
- Manage recruitment, onboarding, training, and career development for a diverse, large‑scale team.
- Collaborate with internal partners and outsourced vendor partners to ensure scalable, compliant operations.
**Required Skills:**
- 10+ years of KYC/AML experience, managing large teams (100+ staff) across multiple regions.
- Deep understanding of financial services regulations, risk management, and AML frameworks.
- Proven ability to develop robust metrics, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms.
- Proficiency with PowerPoint/Google Slides, Excel/Google Sheets, Google Apps, JIRA, and Salesforce Service Cloud.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and cross‑functional collaboration.
- Data‑driven decision‑making, vendor management, and financial acumen.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- BA/BS degree in business, finance, or related discipline.
- Professional certifications (CRCM, CAMS, CIA, CISA, CICA) are advantageous.
- Advanced degree in business, finance, or related field preferred but not mandatory.
