Job Title: Regulatory Transaction Reporting Manager
Role Summary: Own day‑to‑day regulatory operations for global transaction reporting, lead a distributed team, and drive continuous improvement of reporting processes, controls, and data quality.
Expectations: Deliver high‑quality, compliant reporting on a BAU basis for G20 and SFTR obligations. Act as a strategic partner to business stakeholders, technology, compliance, and product teams. Serve as escalation point for exceptions, data issues, and process challenges. Manage onshore/offshore team performance and development.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the regulatory transaction reporting unit and oversee BAU delivery.
- Manage and develop a multi‑location onshore/offshore team, providing training, coaching, and performance oversight.
- Partner with business stakeholders across initiatives and internal teams to capture requirements and shape policy implementation.
- Review, enhance, and standardise the BAU reporting process, infrastructure, and data quality frameworks.
- Ensure compliance with global G20 reporting obligations (EMIR, ASIC, MAS, SFTR, CFTC/SEC‑SBSR).
- Resolve reporting exceptions, data issues, and structural challenges, serving as escalation point.
- Monitor calculations and communicate errors and omissions.
Required Skills
- Minimum 5+ years of regulatory transaction reporting experience in a buy‑side environment.
- In‑depth knowledge of EMIR, ASIC, MAS, SFTR, or CFTC/SEC‑SBSR reporting operations.
- Strong understanding of derivatives, transaction information, reference data, and ability to translate regulatory requirements into internal workflows.
- Broad familiarity with front, middle, and back‑office functions.
- Excellent team leadership, training, and performance management.
- Effective communication and stakeholder partnership skills.
- Analytical mindset for process improvement and data quality.
Required Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Computer Science, or related field.
- Professional certifications (e.g., FRM, CFA, CTP) are a plus.
