Job Description
Job title: Logistics Operations Manager – Tangier Role Summary: Lead, coordinate, and continuously improve all logistics operations, ensuring efficient movement of goods, compliance with standards, and optimal use of resources. Expectations: - Manage end‑to‑end logistics processes within the organization. - Deliver on time, within budget, and according to quality and safety standards. - Lead and develop a high‑performance logistics team. Key Responsibilities: • Supervise and coordinate daily logistics activities (receiving, warehousing, picking, packing, shipping, and inbound/outbound transportation). • Plan and schedule goods flows to meet delivery windows and cost targets. • Manage relationships with carriers, suppliers, and third‑party service providers. • Monitor performance metrics (KPIs), analyze data, and implement corrective actions. • Ensure adherence to company procedures, quality standards, safety regulations, and statutory compliance. • Drive process optimization initiatives and propose continuous improvement measures. • Maintain accurate stock records and support seamless operations in fulfillment, returns, and inventory control. Required Skills: • Proven understanding of logistics operations and supply‑chain management. • Strong leadership and team‑management abilities. • Proficient in ERP, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and advanced Excel. • Analytical mindset with ability to interpret KPIs and service data. • Effective communication and negotiation skills. • Basic knowledge of import/export processes and related regulations (advantageous). Required Education & Certifications: • Minimum Bachelor’s degree (Bac+5) in Logistics, Supply‑Chain Management, or Operations Management. • At least 5 years of progressive experience in a similar logistics management role. • Fluent French; English proficiency preferred.
