Growth Marketing, Content Marketer (Summer Intern)
**Role Summary:**
Support Medidata’s demand‑generation efforts by creating and optimizing B2B marketing copy, leveraging AI tools, and analyzing campaign performance. Work closely with growth marketing leads to develop multi‑channel content that drives lead acquisition and conversion for the clinical‑trial technology platform.
**Expectations:**
- Deliver high‑impact, data‑driven copy across email, web, and paid‑media assets.
- Apply generative AI to accelerate content creation and testing.
- Produce actionable insights from campaign analytics to refine messaging.
- Maintain rigorous organization, meet deadlines, and collaborate in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Draft, edit, and optimize copy for email nurture tracks, blogs, case studies, landing pages, and digital ads.
- Assist in landing‑page creation, A/B testing, and conversion‑rate optimization.
- Support paid‑media planning (e.g., Google Ads) and monitor channel performance.
- Utilize generative AI/LLMs to generate messaging variations and streamline workflows.
- Analyze campaign data using Eloqua, Salesforce, Google Analytics, and present insights for iterative improvement.
- Conduct competitive intelligence on industry trends and rival strategies; share findings to influence messaging.
**Required Skills:**
- Exceptional writing ability; capable of translating complex B2B concepts into clear, compelling copy.
- Proficiency with generative AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, etc.) for content creation.
- Familiarity with marketing automation (Eloqua) and CRM systems (Salesforce).
- Basic knowledge of digital analytics (Google Analytics) and paid‑media platforms.
- Strong organizational, time‑management, and detail‑orientation skills.
- Self‑motivated, collaborative, and comfortable in a data‑driven, fast‑moving setting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Currently enrolled in an MBA program (or equivalent graduate studies) with a focus on Marketing, Communications, English, or Business.
- Portfolio or writing samples demonstrating B2B copywriting capability.
- No formal certifications required; experience with AI/LLM tools and marketing platforms preferred.
