**Job Title:** Cloud Architect – Azure Integration
**Role Summary:**
Lead design and implementation of enterprise‑grade integration solutions on Microsoft Azure Integration Services. Translate complex business requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable architectures, establish standards, and guide cross‑functional teams across hybrid and cloud environments.
**Expectations:**
- Minimum 5 + years of experience designing Azure integration solutions.
- Proven ability to define architecture standards, govern delivery, and mentor development teams.
- Strong stakeholder communication and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to stay current with Azure platform updates and integration trends.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Create high‑level designs using Azure Logic Apps, Functions, Service Bus, Event Grid, and API Management.
- Define and enforce enterprise integration architecture standards, patterns, and best practices (SOA, ETL, event‑driven).
- Prototype solutions, produce detailed specifications, and maintain the integration architecture roadmap.
- Collaborate with business owners, developers, and IT to gather requirements and translate them into technical designs.
- Provide strategic guidance on Azure AIS components and complementary platforms (MuleSoft, Solace, SAP BTP).
- Establish governance frameworks for integration development, deployment, and monitoring.
- Promote security, performance, and maintainability across all integration projects.
- Recommend continuous improvements and stay abreast of Azure and industry advancements.
**Required Skills:**
- Deep expertise with Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Service Bus, Event Grid, API Management.
- Strong understanding of cloud‑native architecture, microservices, and integration design patterns.
- Proficient in RESTful APIs, JSON, XML, messaging protocols.
- Experience with DevOps/CICD pipelines (Azure DevOps) and Infrastructure as Code.
- Programming/scripting: C#, .NET, PowerShell (or similar).
- Exposure to MuleSoft, Solace, SAP BTP and hybrid integration scenarios.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and team‑leadership abilities.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert **or** Azure Developer Associate (required).
- Optional/advantageous: MuleSoft, Solace, or other integration platform certifications.
