**Job title:** Lead Product Manager – Platform / Developer Experience
**Role Summary:**
Own and drive the strategy, roadmap, and execution of a next‑generation internal developer platform that unifies infrastructure, observability, orchestration, and documentation for hundreds of engineering teams. Deliver friction‑free, secure, and cost‑efficient developer workflows while leveraging data, research, and AI to continuous improvement.
**Expectations:**
- Lead platform product vision and strategy with a customer‑centric mindset focused on internal engineers.
- Translate complex engineering requirements into clear, compelling product decisions.
- Mentor or grow a PM team as the organization scales.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Define and evolve “golden paths” that streamline onboarding, deployment, and day‑to‑day engineering activities.
- Integrate infrastructure, observability, orchestration, and documentation into a unified developer experience.
- Identify and remove bottlenecks, toil, and cognitive load through design, automation, and governance.
- Build quantitative and qualitative measurement frameworks to drive data‑based product decisions.
- Automate governance, compliance, cost visibility, and infrastructure hygiene across the platform.
- Conduct internal discovery: interviews, beta programs, research, and adoption loops.
- Influencing cross‑functional squads and shaping the overall platform roadmap.
- Explore and prototype AI use cases that enhance developer experience and accelerate delivery.
**Required Skills:**
- Proven experience as a technical product manager in platform, cloud, or developer‑facing tools.
- Strong technical fluency with cloud‑native environments, microservices, and modern infrastructure.
- Product mindset that balances data, research, and empathy.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influence skills.
- Ability to simplify complex concepts and lead cross‑functional collaboration.
- Curiosity, ownership, proactive problem‑solving, and a customer‑first attitude.
- Experience with AI/ML product or feature development is a plus.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Professional certifications such as PMP, SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager, or Product School credentials are desirable but not mandatory.
