Job Title: Data Analyst – Tableau
Role Summary: Senior data analyst responsible for extracting, transforming, and visualizing large datasets using SQL, Python (numpy, pandas, matplotlib, scikit‑learn), Tableau, and Power BI. Applies descriptive, diagnostic, and predictive analytics to evaluate business controls, detect anomalies, and support audit engagements. Produces executive‑level dashboards and presentations to influence decisions across the organization.
Expactations: 5–7 years of hands‑on analytics and programming experience; proven ability to deliver high‑impact insights; strong written and verbal communication; capability to work with stakeholders at all levels and navigate ambiguous situations; solid understanding of IT principles and internal controls in large corporate settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain ETL pipelines, SQL queries, and Python scripts for data extraction and transformation.
- Build and optimize Tableau dashboards and Power BI reports for executive review.
- Perform descriptive, diagnostic, and predictive analyses, including regression, cluster, decision‑tree, and anomaly‑detection techniques.
- Identify control gaps, compliance indicators, and hidden patterns in large datasets.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (audit, finance, risk) to embed data‑driven decision making.
- Support audit engagements by applying analytics tools such as Archer, Alteryx, Dataiku, and others.
- Communicate findings through clear visualizations, executive summaries, and stakeholder presentations.
Required Skills:
- Advanced SQL (query design, performance tuning).
- Proficient Python programming (numpy, pandas, matplotlib, scikit‑learn).
- Tableau (mandatory) and Power BI expertise.
- Statistical modeling (regression, clustering, decision trees).
- Anomaly detection methods.
- Dashboard and executive‑level visual storytelling.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management.
- Knowledge of IT principles, data analytics lifecycle, and internal controls.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
- Tableau Desktop Specialist or equivalent certification (preferred).
- Advanced degree in Data Science/Analytics, AI, Engineering, Statistics, or Mathematics is a plus.
