Job Description
Job title: Android Developer Role Summary: Lead end‑to‑end development of enterprise Android applications using Java/Kotlin. Design, implement, and optimize high‑quality, scalable mobile software while ensuring compliance with platform security and performance standards. Expactations: - 12+ years of Android development experience. - Demonstrated leadership in code quality, architecture design, and delivery of production‑ready apps. - Commitment to continuous learning and adherence to industry best practices. Key Responsibilities: - Architect and develop robust Android codebases with Java/Kotlin. - Design, write, and maintain automated UI and unit tests using Espresso/XCUITest. - Manage native build configurations, signing workflows, and app variants (flavors, build types). - Integrate third‑party libraries, SDKs, and APIs securely and efficiently. - Collaborate across cross‑functional teams (product, QA, DevOps) to deliver features on time. - Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve performance issues throughout the app lifecycle. Required Skills: - Expert in Java/Kotlin for Android platform. - Proven experience (≥3 years) with automated testing frameworks (Espresso, XCUITest). - In‑depth knowledge of native build processes, signing certificates, provisioning profiles, and build flavors. - Strong background in integrating third‑party code, SDKs, and RESTful services. - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and build automation for Android. - Ability to mentor junior developers and enforce coding standards. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience. - Android developer certifications (e.g., Google Associate Android Developer) preferred but not mandatory.
