Job Description: **Job Title** Senior Full Stack Engineer **Role Summary** Design, develop, and maintain both the front‑end and back‑end components of the Teleport product. Work across the full product lifecycle—from customer discovery and requirement definition to coding, testing, and documentation—while contributing open‑source code in Go, TypeScript, and React. **Expectations** - Own feature development from concept to production, ensuring quality and security. - Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (product, design, security) to solve real customer problems. - Write clear requirements (RFDs), technical specs, and documentation. - Deliver maintainable, testable code that aligns with Teleport’s open‑source standards. **Key Responsibilities** - Implement user interfaces and REST/GraphQL APIs in Go, Rust, or TypeScript. - Add server‑side pagination, filtering, and onboarding flows to improve usability. - Build the Teleport Connect desktop app and passwordless authentication UI. - Conduct code reviews, unit/integration tests, and performance optimizations. - Maintain open‑source repository hygiene—coding standards, versioning, and community engagement. **Required Skills** - Strong proficiency in Go (preferred) and TypeScript/React; Rust experience is a plus. - Deep understanding of web security principles and best practices. - Experience with API design, authentication, and session management. - Comfortable with full‑stack debugging and performance tuning. - Familiarity with open‑source contribution workflows (Git, PRs, issue tracking). **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience. - No specific certifications required; security or cloud certifications accepted as beneficial.
