Job Description: **Job Title** Senior Software Engineer **Role Summary** Lead the design, development, and maintenance of a scalable backend payment platform. Deliver high‑performance, secure, and reliable services that support millions of users globally. **Expactations** - Own end‑to‑end feature delivery from concept through production. - Propose and drive architectural improvements. - Produce maintainable, well‑documented code adhering to best practices. **Key Responsibilities** - Design, implement, test, and deploy backend services using Golang or a comparable statically‑typed compiled language. - Build and optimize complex financial calculations for high‑volume transactions. - Manage relational database schemas, SQL queries, transaction isolation, and concurrency control. - Develop secure, well‑documented APIs. - Collaborate with product, UX, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure feature quality and timely releases. - Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions. - Mentor junior engineers and contribute to code reviews. **Required Skills** - Proficiency in Golang (or similar) and strong understanding of compiled, statically‑typed languages. - Experience with relational databases (SQL) and high‑concurrency environments. - Expertise in API design with a focus on security and documentation. - Solid problem‑solving skills and logical reasoning. - Autonomous, proactive, and product‑oriented mindset. - Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional experience). - Certifications in cloud platforms, database administration, or related domains are a plus.
