**Job Title**
Operations Engineer (F/M)
**Role Summary**
Drive the design, maintenance, and evolution of operational pipelines for banking and application flows. Coordinate production deployments, acceptance testing, and incident resolution while ensuring continuity and reliability of critical services. Operate at the intersection of RUN activities and BUILD projects, collaborating closely with the Infrastructure & Operations Manager and the broader infrastructure team.
**Expectations**
- Minimum 4 years of experience in an IT operations role, ideally within a banking or insurance environment.
- Proven ability to design and manage end‑to‑end operational chains, including scheduling and release processes.
- Capacity to work on‑site (≤30 min travel) and participate in on‑call rotations, particularly for accounting operations.
- Strong analytical mindset, proactive problem‑solving, and documentation skills.
- Collaborative attitude, capable of challenging peers and driving continuous improvement.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Design, maintain, and enhance operational pipelines for banking and application services.
- Supervise production deployments and acceptance (recette) phases across Linux, Windows, and AS/400 platforms.
- Manage Level‑2 operational incidents, perform root‑cause analysis, and update related procedures.
- Ensure reliability, fault‑tolerance, and continuity of banking flows and application services.
- Participate in on‑call duty to support accounting operations and critical service uptime.
- Contribute to both RUN and BUILD initiatives, bridging operational requirements with development projects.
**Required Skills**
- Proficient with Linux, Windows, AS/400, Control‑M, SFTP, CFT, PESIT, GitLab, Shell scripting, Active Directory, Group Policy Objects, and Jira.
- Experience with production release management, scheduling tools, and operational monitoring.
- Strong incident management, troubleshooting, and process documentation abilities.
- Ability to work cross‑functionally and communicate clearly with technical and business stakeholders.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Industry certifications (e.g., ITIL, Linux Professional Institute, or Control‑M training) are advantageous but not mandatory.
