Job Title: Senior Cyber Security Engineer
Role Summary: Lead vulnerability and threat management across a distributed enterprise, owning core security tooling, incident response, and OT security. Deliver security awareness, audits, and cloud‑centric protection for AWS, Active Directory, and industrial control systems.
Expectations: Demonstrate hands‑on expertise in vulnerability remediation, incident containment, and cloud security architecture. Independently prioritize risk, make technical decisions, and drive continuous improvement of security processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Run vulnerability management programs using Qualys, CrowdStrike, and other endpoint platforms, remediating findings.
- Own deployment, monitoring, and enhancement of core security tools.
- Investigate, contain, and recover from cyber incidents per defined SLAs.
- Strengthen OT security in factory environments, addressing critical risk areas.
- Support audits, certifications, and compliance activities, ensuring effective controls.
- Deliver security training, awareness sessions, and tabletop exercises.
- Lead IT, cloud, data/AI, and OT/IT convergence projects.
- Collaborate with Group Cyber, IT Operations, Service Desk, and third‑party vendors.
- Maintain documentation, knowledge base, and support continual service improvement.
- Provide out‑of‑hours incident support as needed.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a cyber or infrastructure security engineer.
- Direct hands‑on vulnerability management and remediation.
- Strong incident response (investigation, containment, recovery).
- Hands‑on AWS security (IAM, network controls, monitoring).
- Experience securing Windows and Linux servers and endpoints.
- Solid networking fundamentals (WAN, LAN, firewalls).
- Operational experience with security tooling.
- Independent, risk‑prioritized decision maker.
Required Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or related field.
- Security certifications such as CISSP, CompTIA Security+, or AWS Security Specialty preferred.
