**Job Title:** Engineer – Computer Aided Engineering **Role Summary:** Apply finite element analysis (FEA) and hand calculations to design, evaluate, and optimize vehicle structures and sub‑systems. Support physical testing, diagnose reliability issues, and produce technical reports that guide product development. **Expactations:** - 5 + years of FEA experience in a vehicle or related environment. - Proven ability to create accurate FEA models, run simulations, and interpret results. - Strong communication and problem‑solving skills. - Proficiency in Altair Hyperworks; experience in fatigue, NVH, MBD, or crash analysis is a plus. - Working knowledge of nCode, Solid Edge, Teamcentre, and Teamwork desirable. **Key Responsibilities:** 1. Build and maintain FEA models of vehicle structures and components. 2. Execute static, dynamic, and fatigue analyses to assess structural performance. 3. Interpret simulation outputs, validating against design requirements. 4. Draft concise technical reports summarizing findings and recommendations. 5. Collaborate with physical test teams to design experiments and analyze test data. 6. Identify and resolve reliability and safety issues identified in simulations or tests. **Required Skills:** - Finite Element Analysis (FEA) – modeling, meshing, solution, post‑processing. - Stress and strain analysis, mechanical property understanding. - Altair Hyperworks (and related tools). - Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities. - Clear technical writing and verbal communication. - Team oriented with collaborative mindset. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related discipline. ---
