Job Description
Job title: Business Analyst Role Summary: Drive data‑led decision making and support sustained global growth for a leading luxury skincare brand. Collate, analyze, and report on retail performance, financial metrics, and market dynamics to inform strategy across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain. Expactations: * 2–4 years of business or financial analysis in retail, beauty, luxury, or consumer goods. * Strong analytical mindset with advanced Excel/Google Sheets proficiency and presentation skills. * Comfortable building dashboards, interpreting data, and clearly communicating insights. * Prior experience in high‑growth consumer environments, ERP/CRM, and BI systems preferred. * Genuine interest in luxury skincare and beauty. Key Responsibilities: * Develop and maintain weekly, monthly, and quarterly retail performance reports across all channels. * Analyze sales trends, inventory, productivity metrics, and customer behavior insights; create sell‑in/ sell‑through dashboards and KPIs for leadership. * Support annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, financial modeling, scenario analyses, and variance reporting; track P&L and identify risks/opportunities. * Build and enhance automated reporting tools, trackers, and dashboards; partner with cross‑functional teams to streamline workflows and improve data management. * Assist with ERP, CRM, and analytics tool implementation and ongoing maintenance. * Develop market sizing, pricing, and channel profitability models; conduct competitive benchmarking and trend reviews. * Provide insights to shape commercial strategy, product launches, and retail expansion; support ad‑hoc analysis, presentations, and business cases. Required Skills: * Advanced data analysis and financial modeling. * Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets, Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools. * Strong reporting and presentation capabilities. * Ability to collaborate across multiple business functions. * Detail‑oriented with excellent organizational skills. Required Education & Certifications: * Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field (MBA or advanced finance certification such as CFA/FRM is a plus).
