Job Description

**Job Title** Full Stack Developer **Role Summary** Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable web services and APIs using PHP and Laravel. Collaborate within an Agile team to deliver high‑quality code that integrates with internal and external systems. **Expectations** - Strong backend programming skills (PHP 8, Java or equivalent). - Proficient in object‑oriented design, MVC architecture, and RESTful API development. - Experience with MySQL (or similar relational databases). - Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and version control (Git/GitHub). - Ability to write unit and integration tests (e.g., PHPUnit). - Good analytical and problem‑solving abilities and the capacity to juggle multiple tasks. - Comfortable working in a flat, self‑managed Agile environment. **Key Responsibilities** - Build new APIs and services, and enhance existing ones. - Write clean, maintainable, and well‑documented code. - Develop and run automated tests to ensure reliability. - Containerise applications and manage deployments with Docker. - Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and daily stand‑ups. - Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand requirements and resolve ambiguities. - Monitor and troubleshoot API integrations with internal and external systems. - Continuously improve development processes and tooling. **Required Skills** - PHP 8, Java, or similar backend language. - Laravel framework (or comparable MVC framework). - MySQL or equivalent relational database. - RESTful API design, JSON manipulation. - Object‑oriented programming fundamentals. - Git (GitHub) for version control. - PHPUnit or equivalent testing frameworks. - Docker containerisation and orchestration basics. - Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and time‑management abilities. - Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. - Relevant certifications (e.g., PHP Certification, Docker Certified Associate) are an advantage but not mandatory.
