**Job Title**
Information Technology Support Specialist
**Role Summary**
Hands‑on IT professional providing on‑site and on‑premises support for desktop, laptop, mobile, network, and data‑center equipment. Manages installations, imaging, troubleshooting, and vendor coordination while ensuring compliance with SLAs and maintaining accurate documentation.
**Expectations**
Deliver reliable, timely support for end‑users and infrastructure. Keep inventory accurate, adhere to established standards, and facilitate seamless event/AV setups. Participate in after‑hours coverage and support recurring meetings/events as required.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop, laptop, Mac, and peripheral hardware.
- Perform IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) services for IT assets.
- Image laptops/desktops, manage printer and AV equipment, and support conference‑room setups.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, Office 365, DNS/DHCP, and basic LAN connectivity issues.
- Manage IT inventory, label racks/devices, mount/move servers, and support DC hardware (compute, storage, backup, network).
- Coordinate with OEM vendors for spares, repairs, and technical support.
- Execute after‑hours and event support, ensuring minimal impact on business operations.
- Document incidents, resolutions, and knowledge‑base articles.
- Maintain strict adherence to defined SLAs and quality standards.
**Required Skills**
- Proficiency with Windows and macOS operating systems.
- Hardware troubleshooting and repair experience.
- Office 365 support and basic network configuration (DHCP, DNS, LAN).
- Printer and AV device management.
- IMAC, imaging, and server mounting/relocation skills.
- Communication and customer‑service skills for high‑touch support.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with vendor contacts.
- Documentation and knowledge‑base creation.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field preferred.
- CompTIA A+ (mandatory) and CompTIA Network+ or Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator (preferred).
