Job Description

**Job Title:** Lead Insight Analyst **Role Summary:** Lead the Insight Analytics function within a large insurance organization, overseeing a team of analysts to deliver rigorous, actionable insights that directly influence strategy and operations. Drive end‑to‑end analytics projects, embed data insight into senior decision forums, and promote best practices across analytics and data engineering teams. **Expectations:** - Deliver high‑quality insights that impact key business metrics. - Build and sustain a high‑performing analyst team. - Champion analytics adoption and data literacy across the enterprise. **Key Responsibilities:** - Manage, coach, and grow a squad of Insight Analysts, setting standards for analytical rigor and clarity. - Plan, execute, and validate impactful analyses and dashboards for senior stakeholders. - Partner with business units to identify strategic questions and opportunities for analytics. - Embed the team in decision‑making forums to ensure analytics informs strategy and operations. - Communicate findings in clear, business‑friendly language and facilitate actions that link insights to measurable outcomes. - Collaborate with Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, and the broader analytics group to ensure the Data & Analytics Platform supplies the requisite data and tooling. - Champion and enforce consistent analytical methodologies, best practices, and outcome reliability. **Required Skills:** - 5+ years of analytics experience in a senior role, preferably within the insurance sector. - Proven leadership of analytical teams; ability to mentor and develop talent. - Strong business acumen with a demonstrated record of influencing senior stakeholders through data. - Expertise in translating complex analytical concepts into actionable business insights. - Proficiency with modern cloud analytics platforms (Google Cloud Platform or similar). - Experience collaborating with data engineering, science, and visualization teams. - Passion for data‑driven decision making and fostering analytics literacy. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field. - Advanced degree (Master’s/MBA) or professional certifications (e.g., Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer, Certified Analytics Professional) preferred.
