Job Title: Project Manager
Role Summary:
Lead and manage technical industrial projects within the Project Engineering department, from scope definition through execution and delivery for production, infrastructure, and R&D facilities.
Expectations:
- Full responsibility for project lifecycle – scope, deliverables, budget, timeline, and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Build and guide cross‑functional project teams; coordinate internal and external resources.
- Own technical design, specification, tendering, and vendor selection.
- Maintain continuous client communication, manage scope changes, and provide regular status reporting to stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, constraints, and success criteria in partnership with the client.
- Assemble, mentor, and lead multidisciplinary project teams (mechanics, electrical, piping, civil, etc.).
- Oversee technical design, engineering specifications, and tender documentation for orders, engineering firms, and contractors.
- Select and contract engineering firms and contractors, assessing capabilities, resources, and cost.
- Direct and monitor all project resources, ensuring effective allocation and performance.
- Manage project budget, schedule, and risk, updating plans and forecasts as needed.
- Capture, assess, and implement change requests, maintaining alignment with project goals.
- Deliver accurate, timely progress reports to stakeholders and maintain documentation for audit and compliance.
Required Skills:
- Minimum 5 years of professional engineering experience with at least 3 years leading technical industrial projects.
- Strong knowledge of mechanics, electrical, piping, civil, electromechanics, and chemistry disciplines.
- Proficiency in project management tools, methodologies, and documentation practices.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills with both detailed and strategic perspectives.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder‑management abilities.
- Ability to work cross‑functionally and manage multiple external vendors simultaneously.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Chemical, or related field) or equivalent.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification preferred but not mandatory.
