Job Description

**Job title:** Data Strategy Consultant **Role Summary:** Design and implement data‑driven solutions for clients in a specialist data consulting firm. Lead phases from project scoping and stakeholder workshops to product design, roadmap development, and final delivery. Manage project timelines, produce presentations, and support business development through opportunity identification. **Expectations:** - Deliver clear strategic recommendations and data product designs that address client business challenges. - Own end‑to‑end project execution, ensuring on‑time, on‑budget outcomes. - Communicate findings and proposals succinctly to technical and non‑technical audiences. - Contribute proactively to business growth by spotting new consulting opportunities. **Key Responsibilities:** - Conduct client interviews, host workshops, and define project scope. - Identify relevant use cases and translate them into data product concepts. - Create product roadmaps and collaborate with engineering, architecture, BI, and data science teams. - Manage project timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder expectations. - Develop and present materials for review meetings and decision‑making forums. - Engage in sales support activities, including opportunity scoping and proposal development. **Required Skills:** - Strong analytical and synthesis abilities. - Excellent written and verbal communication; able to present complex ideas simply. - Team‑player with collaborative mindset. - Curiosity and passion for data and digital transformation topics. - Experience or familiarity with data architecture, engineering, governance, BI, and data science concepts. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Minimum of a Bachelor’s (bac 4/5) or higher degree from a business school or engineering program. - No specific certifications required, but knowledge of data platforms (Snowflake, Dataiku, Azure, Talend, Qlik) is a plus.
