Job Description: **Job Title** Product Owner – ServiceNow CMDB / APM / SAM **Role Summary** Act as the primary functional liaison between business stakeholders and the ServiceNow platform team. Translate business requirements into platform configuration and enhancements across CMDB, Application Performance Management (APM), and Software Asset Management (SAM). Own the release lifecycle, ensuring functional alignment, quality delivery, and data integrity. **Expectations** - Drive functional ownership of end‑to‑end delivery for the CMDB, APM, and SAM modules. - Collaborate with IT and business teams to surface, prioritize, and validate requirements. - Ensure delivery meets business needs, data governance, and platform design standards. - Maintain certification and current knowledge of ServiceNow platform and related modules. **Key Responsibilities** - Validate and prioritize functional requests within CMDB/APM/SAM scope. - Participate in internal Design Authority meetings for platform guidance. - Lead maintenance committees for each module, coordinating releases and updates. - Design and execute System Testing (TS) and Acceptance Testing (TAU) to verify feature compliance. - Update knowledge base with new configurations, processes, and automated test scripts. - Oversee data quality management and support configuration and external audits. - Communicate roadmap, status, and risks to stakeholders. - Foster continuous improvement in process and platform usage. **Required Skills** - ServiceNow product ownership or equivalent experience (minimum 2–3 years). - Deep understanding of CMDB, APM, SAM modules and IT Service Management processes. - Agile/Scrum methodology familiarity; experience as Product Owner or Business Analyst. - Strong stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills. - Ability to translate business requirements into functional specifications and configuration changes. - Knowledge of data governance, asset management, and licensing cycles. - Proficiency in test planning, execution, and documentation. - Analytical mindset for auditing and data quality initiatives. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Informatics, or related field. - ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) is mandatory. - Additional certifications such as ServiceNow Certified CMDB Specialist, APM Specialist, or SAM Specialist are highly preferred. ---
