**Job title**: Senior Project Manager – Global Trade‑in Shipping Experience
**Role Summary**:
Lead the end‑to‑end global trade‑in shipping experience across EU, UK, and US, driving higher conversion of promised orders into shipped packages. Manage operations, budgeting, P&L, vendor contracts, and communication strategies while building a scalable, data‑driven delivery roadmap that supports Back Market’s circularity mission.
**Expectations**:
- Own bi‑annual budgeting and metric targets linked to profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Lead shipping P&L management, analyze variances and implement corrective actions.
- Own contract negotiation, partner relationships, and freight‑provider mix optimization.
- Develop and launch communication levers (email, SMS, FAQ) and monitoring tools.
- Operate day‑to‑day shipping operations, incident response, and compensation budgets.
- Define and execute the trade‑in delivery strategy, securing resources and timelines.
- Drive cross‑departmental projects, benchmark best practices, and identify continuous improvement.
- Apply data analytics, AI, and automation to optimize convenience, fraud mitigation, and ROI.
- Exhibit entrepreneurial, proactive, and frugal problem‑solving in a high‑speed environment.
**Key Responsibilities**:
1. **Budget & Targets** – Conduct bi‑annual budget exercise, set KPI targets, and report on trade‑in performance.
2. **P&L & Finance** – Own shipping P&L, analyze cost/revenue variances, root‑cause, and corrective actions.
3. **Contracts & Partners** – Negotiate and manage contracts with kits providers (FR, UK, US) and interface with central shipping team.
4. **Communication** – Design and launch marketing levers (emails, SMS, FAQ) in CRM tools to drive customer shipping.
5. **Tools & Tracking** – Build dashboards, trackers, and performance tools for ongoing monitoring.
6. **Daily Ops & Incidents** – Oversee daily shipping operations, incident management, and compensation processes.
7. **Strategy & Vision** – Craft trade‑in delivery strategy; write vision documents, secure development, investment, and staffing resources.
8. **Cross‑Functional Projects** – Lead and coordinate projects across departments, ensuring alignment and timely delivery.
9. **Innovation & Continuous Improvement** – Explore industry best‑practices, evaluate partners, pilot AI/automation solutions, and drive ROI‑focused experiments.
**Required Skills**:
- Project management (end‑to‑end, cross‑functional).
