Job Description

Job Title: Venture Capital Associate / Senior Associate Role Summary: Partner with an early‑stage tech fund to identify, evaluate, and manage investments across diverse European technology sectors. Engage in all phases—from source identification and deal execution to portfolio oversight—while contributing to value creation initiatives. Expectations: Deliver rigorous financial analysis, articulate investment theses, and support transaction execution. Act independently and collaboratively to achieve fund targets, delivering clear reporting and actionable insights to the investment team. Key Responsibilities: - Source and initiate qualified investment opportunities across multiple tech verticals. - Conduct deep sector research, producing comprehensive investment theses and market insights. - Support due diligence and transaction execution, coordinating with bankers, lawyers, and portfolio companies. - Monitor portfolio performance, prepare reporting materials, and identify value‑creation actions. - Maintain active communication with management teams and external stakeholders. Required Skills: - Strong financial modeling and valuation expertise. - Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to present complex ideas clearly. - Solid commercial judgment and analytical rigor. - Collaborative mindset with the capacity to work independently. - High integrity, positive attitude, and strong motivation for early‑stage investing. - Proficiency in French (native or fluent) highly desirable.
