Job Description
Job Title: Insights Analyst Role Summary: Leads performance measurement and reporting within the Consultant Operations team, translating complex data into strategic insights for senior leaders. Designs, builds, and maintains Power BI dashboards and Excel reporting tools, ensuring data accuracy and consistency across financial and operational metrics. Collaborates cross‑functionally with Finance, Business Analysis, Wealth Management, and operational teams to harmonise data sources, validate reports, and streamline reporting processes. Expectations: * 2–3 years of analyst experience in finance, business analysis, or data‑centric roles. * Proven ability to analyse trends, identify variances, and communicate findings clearly to non‑technical stakeholders. * Experience managing end‑to‑end reporting cycles and delivering actionable insights. * Comfortable driving process improvements, automation, and integration of standardised reporting practices. * Collaborative mindset; thrives in a fast‑growing, data‑driven environment. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver accurate, timely performance reports on key financial and operational metrics. - Analyse data trends, identify variances, and provide concise commentary to support decision‑making. - Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and Excel reporting tools that enhance efficiency and consistency. - Partner with Finance and Business Analysis teams to harmonise data and produce unified, accurate reports. - Collaborate with Wealth Management Directors, Consultants, and operational teams to validate data and drive performance insights. - Support integration projects by establishing standardised reporting processes for new acquisitions. - Identify opportunities to streamline reporting, automate manual tasks, and improve data accuracy. Required Skills: - Advanced Microsoft Excel (modelling, reporting) proficiency. - Proven experience developing Power BI dashboards from scratch. - Strong analytical thinking with meticulous attention to detail. - Effective written and verbal communication; able to explain complex data to non‑technical audiences. - Collaborative team player who enjoys process improvement and problem solving. - Knowledge of SQL and relational databases is advantageous. - Experience in financial services sectors preferred. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Analytics, Economics, or related field, or equivalent professional experience. - Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Power BI, Excel Data Analysis, or finance analytics) are a plus but not mandatory.
