Job Description: **Job title:** Product Engineer (Software Engineer/Applications/AI) **Role Summary:** Design, develop, and improve high‑volume AI‑enabled data products on a microservices‑based platform. Own end‑to‑end feature delivery from architecture and API design through to deployment, focusing on performance, security, and maintainability. **Expectations:** - Deliver customer‑centric solutions with a strong product focus. - Own feature development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, and production rollout. - Mentor teammates in clean coding practices. - Continuously learn and apply new technologies, especially in AI/ML and cloud. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design scalable, secure system architectures (event‑driven, microservices). - Write high‑performance Python code for backend services. - Build and expose secure, scalable REST/AWS API endpoints. - Develop systems for large‑scale data ingestion, processing, and storage. - Refactor and simplify over‑engineered components. - Integrate generative AI and machine‑learning models into business workflows. - Deploy services to AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, EC2, RDS, S3, etc.). - Implement security best practices across the stack. - Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated test suites. - Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align on product goals. **Required Skills:** - 3+ years of experience in Python backend development. - Proven expertise in designing and building microservices, event‑driven systems. - Strong API design and performance/security focus. - Hands‑on AWS experience (Lambda, API Gateway, EC2, RDS, S3, etc.). - Experience with CI/CD, Git, automated testing. - Ability to mentor junior developers. - Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience. - (Optional) AWS certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect, Developer) are a plus.
